I was so excited knowing that I was going to have a baby cousin added to my family but our life that was supposed to be full of happy and memorial memories turned out to be a heartbreak and a roller-coaster of emotions.

Here’s the story of my baby cousin Colter Knox

On November 23rd my baby cousin was born weighing only 1lb 1oz and he was born really sick.

The reason why he’s so sick is because at his age ( 6 months inside of his mom) ended up having the urge to go poop but he shouldn’t have had the feeling. So while he was inside of his mom he pushed the poop out and so much pressure built up inside of him to the point that his bowels ended up rupturing spreading infection throughout his little body.

He had to endure 2 major operations to fix and clean his insides. He was such a little miracle baby. The surgeries were a success and he recovered quickly with no major complications.

He started to gain weight and the infection was getting better each and every day. He went from the IV tube in his head to a cpap machine. He was breathing better and eventually he opened his eyes.

Colters mom and some family went out to eat but as they were enjoying his small improvements as they ate lunch they got an unexpected phone call from the hospital saying that he unfortunately had passed away

So on December 27th 2022 my baby cousin Colter Knox has gained his wings
