As a filmmaker and cinematographer in college there’s so much more that I have to learn to become a successful filmmaker, cinematographer, writer, animator and videographer which is a few different things.

I previously entered my first film into Pinewood Studios first time filmmakers short film festival and I was so honored to just get selected. It takes so much time, patience, determination and self confidence to do what you love and are passionate about. It was some of the most best moments of my life. When you get selected your film automatically goes to the audience round. I was EXTREMELY excited for the opportunity to show my film on the big screen in Hollywood California.

I felt honored to be selected because not everyone gets the chance to be screened. They have hundreds of contestants who enter every film festival. There’s so many to the point it could take countless of rounds in order to see who will become selected from getting the audience choice, best script ,best documentary, horror, action,adventure, shorts and so much more.

It takes dedication, hard work, perseverance, time to get the job done. It may take weeks to months to get tour film made up to turn in your work to a film festival. No matter how long it takes you or how much work to finish just know that it’s all worth it in the end.
